Erich Wyckoff. M.D., assistant professor, Division of General OB/GYN, at the University of South Florida will launch the Men’s Inaugural Career Day by introducing students at the Boys Preparatory Academy to successful men from the legal, medical and service fields. Dr. Wyckoff has modeled this event after the Women’s Symposium at Girls Preparatory Academy that was spearheaded by Catherine M. Lynch, M.D. associate vice president of Women’s Health and associate dean of General Obstetrics & Gynecology at USF, and wife of Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn.
Dr. Wyckoff has arranged for men representing the fields of anesthesiology, cardiology, orthopedics, pediatrics, pharmacy, reconstructive surgery, and veterinary to represent the medical profession. In addition, the director of budget & neighborhood empowerment for the City of Tampa, several attorneys, and a representative from Tampa Fire Rescue will visit classrooms to speak about the secrets to their success and participate in Q & A sessions.
